KVK Anjaw conducted seed distribution cum training on Soybean production
Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Anjaw organised a day long training programme on soybean production technology at doubling farmers income village at Tafraliang on 28th june 2018.Crop Management of Pea for Higher production at Metengliang on 30th Jan 2016. All together 31 farmers and farm woman attended the training programme. The program was chaired by Khoisnam Naveen (SMS, Agronomy). During the training programme he stressed upon major problems affecting soybean production for higher yield like nutrient management, weeds, major pests and diseases of soybean. He also highlighted the importance of soybean crop diet, cropping system, improving soil fertility and oil extraction. He urged the farmers for adoption improved technology for improving the productivity. Later, on Method demonstration on seed treatments were shown to the farmers. At the end of the programme seeds were distributed to the farmer.
